Nathalie Casemajor

Nathalie Casemajor est professeure au Urbanisation Culture Société Research Centre de la INRS (Institut national de la recherche scientifique, Montreal). Ses travaux portent sur les médias numériques, les pratiques culturelles et l’espace urbain. Ils ont été publiés dans les revues Media, Culture & Society, Culture et Musées, Communication & Langages et Fibreculture. Diplômée de l’UQAM et de l’Université Lille 3, elle a été chercheure postdoctorante à l’INRS (Centre Urbanisation, Culture et Société) ainsi qu’au département d’histoire de l’art et des études en communication à l’Université McGill. Elle a également travaillé comme coordinatrice dans divers collectifs citoyens et organisations culturelles.

Nathalie Casemajor Nathalie Casemajor is an Assistant Professor in the Urbanisation Culture Société Research Centre at INRS (Institut national de la recherche scientifique, Montreal). Her work focuses on culture, territories and communities as well as digital culture. She coedited the book Expériences critiques de la médiation culturelle (PUL, 2017), and she is a member of the Chaire Fernand Dumont sur la culture, the Groupe de recherche sur la médiation culturelle and the Laboratoire art et société terrains et théories (l/as/tt). She was previously an Assistant Professor at the Université du Québec en Outaouais, a Postdoctoral Fellow at McGill University (Department of Art History and Communications Studies) and a Visiting Scholar at the New York University (Department of Media, Culture and Communication).

Will Straw

Will Straw is James McGill Professor of Urban Media Studies in the Department of Art History and Communication Studies at the McGill University in Montréal. He is the author of Cyanide and Sin: Visualizing Crime in Fifties America (PPP Editions, 2006) and more than 150 academic articles on popular music, cinema, newspapers, and urban culture. He is currently working on the culture of night.

Will Straw est James McGill Professor of Urban Media Studies au Département d’histoire de l’art et des études en communication de l’Université McGill à Montréal. Il est notamment l’auteur du livre Cyanide and Sin: Visualizing Crime in Fifties America (PPP Editions, 2006) et de plus de 150 articles sur les musiques populaires, le cinéma, la presse écrite et la culture urbaine. Il travaille actuellement sur la culture de la nuit.
